The Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin (BHN) first opened its doors to patients in 2011. The new hospital served a growing demand for quality healthcare in Hua Hin, one of the most popular resort destinations in southeastern Thailand. Bangkok Hospital has a fully equipped Emergency & Trauma department, 60 private in-patient rooms and Intensive Care Units. Numerous out-patient clinics are listed below. BHN has established itself as a local center of healthcare excellence in the region's infrastructure. It is the medical facility of choice favored by local Thais and holidaying Scandinavians, British, Dutch, German, Russians and Americans. Many of Hua Hin's expatriate long-term residents are registered at BHN. The hospital provides healthcare services for patients of all ages and has the expertise, facilities and experience to cover the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of most health conditions. As part of Thailand's largest network hospitals, BHN can refer any medical condition requiring more specialized treatment to its parent hospital in Bangkok. BHN's accessible location provides patients from Hua Hin's neighboring provinces with speedy access to its healthcare services. A quick-response medical transport team ensures that patients reach their destination in safety and that the medical staff from the receiving hospital is aware of the incoming patient's condition en route. 

When Thai or English is not a patient's native language, BHN will link to an interpreter department at its parent hospital in Bangkok. For these patients who are more comfortable speaking another language other than Thai or English, BHN will use a 3-way teleconference between the doctor, patient and interpreter.

BHN was awarded its first international JCI accreditation in 2012, barely 8 months after opening its doors. Since the initial JCI accreditation in 2012, BHN has continued to attain the highest standards and  has now received the award of the gold seal in a follow-up JCI re-accreditation in late 2014. In seeking JCI accreditation early on, BHN sought to achieve international recognition in offering the highest standards of a first-date healthcare provider. JCI sets a global gold standard to follow, starting with the design and construction of the hospital, through to the use the most modern medical technologies and equipment. Similar standards apply in the training of the hospital's staff and to the ongoing investment at BHN of the most modern diagnostic equipment such as a 64-slice CT Scanner, 1.5 Tesla MRI machine and, from late 2015, the introduction of a Cath-lab for a cardio-vascular investigation and treatment. BHN has a strong Emergency Medical Service Unit (EMS) available 24/7. EMS's dedicated medical personnel have recently been bolstered by a team of emergency doctors and nurses.  

BHN will continue to comply with the most rigorous requirements and standards of the JCI organization for its remains a valuable organizing framework for quality and patient safety. In doing so, BHN will reflect the highest international standards maintained by all hospitals within the Bangkok Hospital Group (BDMS).
